Hazday Reyna opened a small shop in Eminönü, which could fit only one person.
1953
Hazday Reyna founded Niltex, naming it after his wife's favorite color, the Nile green.
1960
Niltex moved to Soybaşlar Han in the heart of Eminönü.
1964
Niltex began its first export activities with neighboring countries.
1970
Hayday Reyna increased Niltex's production capacity with the integration of developing technologies.
1974
Niltex added hotel and restaurant textiles to its production line.
1977
Niltex started exporting hotel and restaurant textiles.
1983
In its 40th year, Niltex started exporting to 37 countries.
1985
Niltex started participating in textile fairs in Germany and France
1989
Niltex began to receive export and tax privileges granted by the Republic of Türkiye.
1991
Niltex was awarded the Istanbul Chamber of Commerce High Corporate Tax Certificate of Appreciation in 1991, 1993, 1995, 1996 and 1997.
2009
Niltex moved to its new building in the modern city center.
2019
Fabrics made from recycled fibers were added to the production line.
Today, the second and third generations of the Niltex family continue fabric production in line with and extremely committed to its founding values, but does not compromise on innovation.
Produced using methods in harmony with these values, Hazday Reyna's Niltex's products are exported to Europe, America, Asia and Africa today.

Eminönü's centuries-old trading tradition deeply influenced Hazday Reyna. At that time, trade at the Istanbul Customs Office was conducted under the motto "your word is your bond."
This motto became Niltex's core value. Niltex has added much of its own to Eminönü's motto of "your word is your bond."
